S. E. Alaska's finest Fly Fishing
A Big Chum Salmon at Sheep
Creek
The Juneau, Alaska area of S. E.
Alaska is blessed with many picturesque small rivers and streams
which are, in season, abundant with salmon and trout. Peak
fishing season is mid July through mid August. Guiding is only
available during peak season, except by special arrangement. All
fishing is done with a fly rod, usually from the beach or bank,
using fly patterns developed over the years in the Juneau area.
Fishing is primarily Catch and Release, although you may choose
to bring a fish or so home for dinner. Waders, wading shoes, and
all fly fishing gear is provided. No previous fly fishing
experience is required, and lessons are provided as needed.
