Mike's L.G.T.
The L.G.T. was developed in S.E. Alaska over several years of salmon fishing. This fly has been an excellent producing pattern on most all species of pacific salmon. It also works well for Dolly Varden. It is simple to tie, using only green tinsel and white calf tail. The tinsel down the bend of the hook, and the shape of the fly do seem to be important. I usually tie it on a #6 or #8 Mustad 9672 hook.
